1000 Years after the Beatles

This isn’t exactly what I would expect Anthropology to look like in 3010, but who knows? Besides, it’s fun!

I think that video is a marvelous comment on historical work, as well (especially of the “History Channel” variety). “Ancient history” is guesswork/detective work in a lot of ways that leaves a great deal of room for error or reconstruction along the lines of preconceived notions, but many people do not realize it.

  3. This is a great piece that fits so well in the context of our class in discussing history, anthropology, documentary, authority, etc. Love it!

    I had hesitations in the “historical” section of my group’s bracumentary and this seems to so accurately depict why!

  4. A wonderful fake doc that speaks volumes to the writing of history.
